Aspartame

Aspartame is a low-calorie, high-intensity artificial sweetener composed of two amino acids aspartic acid and phenylalanine. It is approximately 200 times sweeter than sucrose (table sugar), allowing very small amounts to provide significant sweetness with minimal calories.
