LIQUID PARAFFIN+WHITE SOFT PARAFFIN belongs to the group of medicines known as softening agent or soothing agent. LIQUID PARAFFIN+WHITE SOFT PARAFFIN is used to treat eczema and related dry skin conditions. Eczema is a disease in which skin patches become inflamed and rough with sores which may lead to itching and bleeding. The skin losses moisture and it may peel, crack, and irritated and the skin becomes dry.
LIQUID PARAFFIN+WHITE SOFT PARAFFIN contains two medicines namely liquid paraffin and white soft paraffin. LIQUID PARAFFIN+WHITE SOFT PARAFFIN contains Liquid paraffin is a soothing agent (a substance that soothes or softens the skin). It works by avoiding water loss from the outer coating of the skin. This reduces dryness and leaves the skin hydrated and soft. LIQUID PARAFFIN+WHITE SOFT PARAFFIN also contains white paraffin which gives a layer of oil on the surface of the skin and avoids water evaporation from the surface of the skin and helps to moisten the skin.
Take LIQUID PARAFFIN+WHITE SOFT PARAFFIN as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take LIQUID PARAFFIN+WHITE SOFT PARAFFIN for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical conditions. You may experience redness, irritation, sensitisation. Most of these side effects of LIQUID PARAFFIN+WHITE SOFT PARAFFIN do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time.
