Sunscreen: It acts as a physical sunblock, reflecting and scattering both UVA and UVB rays, making it a key ingredient in many sunscreens, especially those formulated for sensitive skin.
Catalyst: It is used as a catalyst support and in photocatalysis for applications like air and water purification.
Cosmetics: Used in makeup and other personal care products for its pigment and UV-filtering qualities.
