Description : 

Titanium Dioxide Rutile Grade R6618 (Technical Grade) is a high-performance rutile titanium dioxide pigment that appears as a fine, white, opaque powder. This grade is typically surface-treated with inorganic materials like zirconia and alumina, and an organic treatment to enhance its performance characteristics. It is highly valued in industrial applications for its excellent whiteness, high gloss, exceptional hiding power (opacity), and superb tinting strength. Its rutile crystal structure grants it superior weather resistance and UV stability, making it a durable choice for both indoor and demanding outdoor applications. It also features good dispersibility in various solvent and water-based systems.


Uses : 

  1. Paints and Coatings: Used in high-gloss, durable solvent-based and water-based paints, architectural coatings (interior and exterior), and industrial coatings, where it provides high opacity, brightness, and protection against weathering and UV degradation.

  2. Plastics: Incorporated into various plastic products (such as PVC, PE, PP, and masterbatches) to achieve high whiteness, opacity, and excellent UV stability, which prevents yellowing and degradation of the plastic.

  3. Printing Inks: Essential for formulating high-quality printing inks, providing high opacity, vivid color reproduction, and good resistance to fading, particularly in oleoresin-based and metal decorative inks.

  4. Rubber Products: Employed in certain rubber formulations to improve the whiteness, color stability, and overall weather resistance of the finished goods.

  1. Leather and Color Paste: Used in the manufacturing of synthetic leather and various color pastes where high hiding power and whiteness are required.
