Biggan Box Tarit Tandob, Science Box for Electric Shock

Description :

The "Biggan Box Tarit Tandob"  which translates to "Science Box Electric Mayhem" or "Science Box for Electric Shock," is an educational science kit primarily designed to introduce children to the fundamental concepts of electricity, circuits, and electromagnetism through hands-on experimentation. Developed by "Onnorokom Bigganbaksho" (অন্যরকম বিজ্ঞানবাক্স), a prominent brand in Bangladesh known for creating engaging science education tools, this kit aims to demystify the principles of electrical energy in a safe and interactive manner. Despite its evocative name "Electric Shock," the experiments are carefully designed to be low-voltage and safe for children, focusing on the fascinating aspects of electricity rather than any danger.

Uses :

1. Understanding Basic Electric Circuits: The core use is to build and understand simple series and parallel circuits. Children learn how to connect wires, batteries, switches, and bulbs to complete a circuit and make a light glow, or a motor run.

2. Exploring Conductors and Insulators: The kit allows for experiments to differentiate between materials that conduct electricity (conductors) and those that do not (insulators), teaching basic material science properties.

3.Making a Simple Fan/Motor: Components are included to build a small electric motor or fan, demonstrating the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy and introducing the concept of electromagnetism.

4. Creating a Buzzer/Sound Circuit: Children can assemble a circuit that produces sound, illustrating how electrical impulses can be converted into auditory output, and introducing basic concepts of electronic signaling.

5. Learning About Electrical Components: The kit familiarizes users with various electrical components like batteries, switches, wires, LEDs, resistors, capacitors, and sometimes even basic sensors like LDRs (Light Dependent Resistors) or thermistors.

 6. Understanding Voltage, Current, and Resistance (Basic Concepts): Through different experiments, children can gain an intuitive understanding of how varying the number of batteries affects brightness (voltage), or how different components affect the flow of electricity (resistance).

 7. Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Assembling circuits and troubleshooting non-working experiments helps develop problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and an understanding of cause and effect in an electrical system.
